Paragliding is a relatively new sport, which emerged at the end of the 70s of the 20th century, at the initiative of a group of climbers who wanted to descend the peaks that they had previously ascended by parachute. The equipment is an ultralight glider formed by a flexible wing (sail) attached to a harness in which the pilot “sits”, which has controls to control the flight path and other parameters such as speed. It’s a simple yet exciting way to fly, either solo or with an instructor, in a two-seater model.
